Fixed partial denture:
  Partial Teeth set which is attached to neighboring teeth and cannot be removed by the patient.

Maxillofacial prosthesis:
  An artificial replacement of a lost/missing part of face/mouth.

OPERATIVE DENTISTRY AND ENDODONTICS
1.

PERIODONTIA
1.
Oral Prophylaxis:
  Cleaning of teeth and removing the (calculus) deposits.

Curettage:
  Deep cleaning around the teeth and inside the gisagiva (gums)
3.
Flap Surgery:
  Surgical cleaning around the teeth and their supporting bone.
4.
Bone grafting:
  Replacing bone deficient areas by artificial bone material to improve bone support around the teeth.
5.
Splinting:
 
Fixing the mobile teeth by means of a small wire to the adjuscent strong teeth for support.
   
ORTHODONTIA
1.
Removable appliance:
  Appliance given for correction of ill-aligned ( Irregularly arranged) teeth, that can be removed by the wearer at will.
2.
Fixed appliance:
  Appliance attached to teeth surfaces for correction of (irregularly arranged teeth) alignment of teeth, that cannot be removed by the wearer.
3.
Orthognathic surgery:
  Surgical correction of jaw size and shape to improve appearance and function.
4.
Functional appliances:
  Appliances that use muscle forces for correction of alignment of teeth and aid jaw growth.
5.
Extra-oral anchorage:
 
Appliances that use support from head/neck to redirect jaw growth to give the desired effect.
   
PEDODONTICS
1.
Restoration:
  Filling the cavity with cement/silver amalgam.
2.
Extraction:
  Removal of infected teeth/tooth or normal tooth ( as a preventive measure to prevent irregularity) for orthodontic purposes.
3.
Root canal Treatment:
  Cleaning and filling inside the root of a painful/diseased tooth.
4.
Pulpotomy:
  Removing the upper part of the pulp in the diseased tooth so that the remaining part of the pulp supplies the tooth.
5.
Pulpectomy:
  Removal of entire pulp of the diseased tooth to ( relieve pain) remove infection.
6.
Apexification:
  Inducing full growth of root in a developing tooth which loses its pulp prematurely.
7.
Oral Prophylaxis:
  Cleaning of debris from the teeth surface.
8.
Fluoride application:
  Applying a chemical on the teeth surface give protection from caries/cavities.
9.
Space maintainers:
  An appliance fitted in the mouth to prevent moving of adjuscent teeth onto the empty space created by removal of milk teeth prematurely.
10.
Habit breaking appliances:
  Appliances fitted in the child’s mouth to keep to stop some abnormal habits like thumb sucking, tongue thrusting, finger sucking, mouth breathing, etc.
11.
